How VBS Scout makes money

VBS Scout is free for churches. We keep it running in two ways:

1. Affiliate links. Some links to retailers like Christianbook are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer pays us a small commission. Your price stays the same.
2. Sponsors. Publishers can sponsor a clearly labeled spot on the site or in our newsletter. Sponsored content is always marked “Sponsored.”

What money can't buy

• Rankings, filters, prices, and theme details work the same for every publisher, sponsor or not.
• Church reviews are never edited, removed, or reordered for a sponsor or affiliate partner.
• We list every theme we can find, whether or not it earns us anything.
